Easy to use

SpeedOf.Me didn't pass the WCAG 2.0 Level A test.

To start the speed test you first have to confirm that you have the Privacy Policy and that you consent to the use of specific Cookies. So 2 clicks are necessary to start the test. So SpeedOf.Me earns no points for this, although a retest is possible with one click.

It is irritant that I needed to maximize the window to repeat a test.

Accuracy and consistency

Tested with a clean version of Google Chrome, the following measurements are done.

Tested with a clean version of Firefox, the following measurements are done.

That gives an average of 53.5Mbps and a standard deviation of 2.25Mbps for the downloadspeed. The average and standard deviation for the time required are respectively 25 seconds and 0.7 second.

Note that based on the Google Chrome measurements the average download speed is 53.2Mbps with a standard deviation of 2.33Mbps. While the Firefox measurements gives an average download speed of 53.8Mbps with a standard deviation of 2.39Mbps.

Max. download speed

The average max. download speed is 56.2Mbps with a standard deviation of 0.05Mbps.
