Method of measurement
For this test we visit the homepage of the speed test and use Link Quality at a Glance and the Link Extractor extension for Firefox to find out if there are links to non-HTML documents like PDF, Word or PowerPoint. The highest number detected is noted.
The test is invoked immediately after loading the homepage. When a speed test starts automatically, the test is started when the test is completed.
For this test we count the number of non-HTML documents linked to.
