Introduction

Embedding non-accessible documents is mentioned in this Top Ten Most Common Web Accessibility Issues.

Method of measurement

For this test we visit the homepage of the speed test and use Link Quality at a Glance and the Link Extractor extension for Firefox to find out if there are links to non-HTML documents like PDF, Word or PowerPoint. The highest number detected is noted.

The test is invoked immediately after loading the homepage. When a speed test starts automatically, the test is started when the test is completed.

For this test we count the number of non-HTML documents linked to.

Speed tests to test

Because this is a relative simple test, the unique speed tests as collected at ZOMDir will be tested.
